"Jerry Karzen was an associate and companion to Moshe during his final teaching years. As a trainer, he is committed to teaching the Feldenkrais Method as he learned it from Moshe. He does so with humor, compassion and sincere concern for each student's learning process." – John Chester, M.D.

Jerry Karzen, MA, is one of the greatest exponents of the Feldenkrais Method in the world and one of the most respected continuators of the work of Moshe Feldenkrais.

He began his own training with the Method creator in 1975 in San Francisco Training Program. Years later he worked directely with Dr. Feldenkrais in the Feldenkrais Institute of Tel-Aviv. Jerry became a personal and close friend of Moshe Feldenkrais. Between 1976 to 1982 he lived with his master, joining him in many trips and working as his personal secretary.

Answering to Moshe Feldenkrais request, Jerry organized and managed the last training program taught by Dr. Feldenkrais, the Amherst Training (1980 - 1982). He participated on the edition of the last two books from Dr. Feldenkrais and directed/recorded 95% of all existing videos from the Functional Integration lessons given Dr. Feldenkrais. Jerry was the first Executive Director of the Feldenkrais Foundation and was also the President of the Feldenkrais Guild North America® . In the last decades, he taught the Method in many countries and was the Educational Director (E.D.) of more than 20 training programs. Nowadays, besides Brazi, he is the E.D. of trainings in Europe and USA.

This is a video where Jerry Karzen presents his new Feldenkrais training in Hawaii. He also talks about his role as an educational director.
